This 1957 Midcentury Home was designed by architect Philip Lloyd Shoop for himself in Castle Hills, TX, a suburb of San Antonio. The house is to be primarily restored to it’s celebrated midcentury character. The home will also be renovated, and a porch and office will be added. The landscape will undergo a new design. Biophilic, sustainable, and high-tech elements will be integrated throughout the design and construction. Design work began in January, 2023.
